Upon passing the course, you’ll receive an IGCSE History qualification that will prepare you for progression to A Levels, higher education, science-related careers or studying a Level 3 qualification at Online Business School.

To sit an IGCSE exam, start by locating a centre in your country that accepts private candidates. Register with them once you have found a suitable centre and pay any necessary fees.
Before the exams, ensure that your statement of entry is accurate and bring valid identification to each exam. Maintain communication with the centre or exam provider for any exam-related inquiries, including special access arrangements.
After the exams, inform the centre or exam provider if you need any special consideration. Collect your results and certificates from them, and if necessary, request reviews of marking or appeals through the centre or exam provider.

The typical age at which people choose to complete the IGCES is 14 to 16, but anyone over the age of 14 can enrol on this course. You also do not need any previous qualifications to be eligible for this course.

Upon completion of this course, students will have the foundations and fundamental knowledge needed to study A levels or a Level 3 qualification with Online Business School.
All students study Core content in either:

The Nineteenth Century:
the development of modern nation-states, 1848–1914
or:
Option B
The twentieth century:
international relations since 1919.
In addition, all students must also study at least one of the Depth studies.

All you’ll need to do is complete a short application form to make sure you meet the criteria for the course, for example, you must have a full secondary education.
The duration of our diploma in IGCSE History is completely flexible and entirely up to you – we allow 5 years to complete the course, which means you can work at a pace that suits you and your life. You can also study the modules in any order at any time so you have complete control of your learning.

You don’t need any previous work experience to enrol on our Level 4 or Level 5 IGCSE History course, however to meet the criteria to enrol in our Level 4 IGCSE History course, you must be at least 18 years old and have a full secondary education.
To enrol in a Level 5 IGCSE History course, you’ll need to have previously completed the Level 4 Qualifi diploma in IGCSE History.
