How do top up degrees work?
On completion of the OBS Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management course you can pursue a BA (Hons) Business and Management Top up programme from various UK universities. The Top up courses may differ slightly depending upon which university you decide to enrol at.
The BA (Hons) Business and Management Top up course has been specially developed for learners who already have level 4 and 5 qualifications in Business or other similar UK/international qualifications. Students can therefore complete the top up and acquire a BA (Hons) degree by completing the final year equivalent.
Students may Top up on campus or by distance learning.
The following universities run top up programmes by DISTANCE LEARNING:
Most universities in the UK will accept the Online Business School 240 credit programme for entry onto the final year Top up on campus. ATHE also have direct agreements with several Universities, Click here for the ATHE progression routes. Students may also contact the admissions department of their chosen university directly.
Please note specific university requirements will differ between universities. Normally universities will accept the 240 credits offered by the Online Business School programme at level 4/5. Students should check with their chosen university for specific entry requirements.
If English is not your native language, you may need to provide verification of your English language capability. There may be an ILETS or TOEFL English language requirement or equivalent.
